OSTEOPATHIC LYCEUM
ADMISSIONS
Thank you for your interest in pursuing your osteopathic education with us at the Osteopathic Lyceum!
We want to make sure we are very clear at all levels about what is required of one of our students to help you in your admissions process. Our cognitive curriculum (anatomy, physiology, philosophy of science, osteopathic history) is asynchronous and, as such, students are very responsible for ensuring they get through material, complete tasks, and reach out for help when needed.
Our clinical curriculum (osteopathic manual therapy) is in-person, 4 consecutive days every month, for 18 months for individuals with a prior hands-on designation, such that you will be required to carve that time out of your schedule. Our asynchronous cognitive curriculum and synchronous clinical curriculum allow for a fair amount of freedom, flexibility, and autonomy for students which also concurrently requires a large amount of responsibility for managing time as well as effort.
We do require that a student has a previous healthcare background and is in good standing with any regulatory board or association they are subject to. Under appropriate circumstances we will consider those with partially complete hands-on training alongside a demonstrable mix of work in a healthcare setting. We will specifically note that Registered Massage Therapists are the most ideally situated learners as they have appropriate prior training, a proven ability to run a healthcare practice, and the current flexibility to manage educational demands in their schedule.

The program is 18 months long and costs $9000 + HST ($10,170 total). Varying payment methods and schedules are available upon discussion.
Please fill out the contact form and we will provide more information about the admissions process.
